Central Plains Diesel & Repair is not some large chain of garages. We were started by local Salina residents and continue to be run and staffed by local residents. We are proud to be extremely knowledgeable about the products and services that we offer and we are proud to be your neighbors. We started small but now strive to serve the diesel needs of all of Kansas.

Humble Beginnings

Our company started as the Diesel Equipment Specialist back in 1977. We quickly became a trusted shop and within ten years, by 1987, we doubled the size of our building. With room to grow, we also brought on more staff, adding technicians and specialists that are still with us to this day. Owners have changed and a new name was given to more accurately reflect the scope of service that we provide, but the people and intentions remain the same.
